Mr Fogg's Tavern: Recreating the Umble-cum-Stumble

In which I review an eccentric bar and try to re-create on of their delectable cocktails...

Just up the road from Trafalgar Square, on the edge of Covent Garden lies Mr Fogg's Tavern. From the outside it looks like a fairly normal London pub but once you step inside you are greeted by a cornucopia of eclectic British memorabilia and serving staff who would not look out of place in a steampunk setting.

It's the kind of place where Professor Elemental would not look out of place and while dressing up is not required I'd definitely consider wazing my moustache before tunring up and getting a hold of some tweed.

Live at the Ritz

Live at the Ritz

Live entertainment at one of London's most exquisite establishments...

The Ritz is a location that needs no introduction. Take a left turn out of Green Park tube station and on the edge of the park you will see the inimitable Ritz. A grand building built in the Parisian style with its own name in lights. Few places can boast the old era grandeur of the Louis XVI style dining rooms at The Ritz Restaurant that can be glimpsed as you walk past.
